Two-day Eye Check-up Camp Organized @ ARCHED HOUSING

ARCHED HOUSING Patna (25th and 26th August 2022): International School of Management Patna in association with Drishtikunj Netralaya conducted a free eye check-up camp and organized a two-day eye check- up camp for its students, faculty members, and non-teaching staff.

Around 300 people benefitted from this camp, which had a team of three renowned optometrists Dr. Randheer Kumar Jha MBBS MD, Ex Senior Surgeon AIIMS New Delhi, Dr. Nimmee Rani, MBBS, MS, Fellow Arvind Eye Hospital and Dr Nishant Kumar Jha.

Blood Donation Camp Organized at ARCHED HOUSING

ARCHED HOUSING Patna (27 November 21): At ARCHED HOUSING Patna premises, the technical team of Prathama Blood Centre, a Charitable Trust under India Health Partners (HP) Project and Health department, Government of Bihar and ATMRF (technical partner of IHP) organized a two-day blood donation camp on 26 and 27 November. The technical expert team of Prathama organized two blood donation awareness sessions among the students on 26 November.

On the second day of the camp, 72 students of the institute enthusiastically donated blood in the camp, of which more than 50 students donated blood for the first time. Acknowledging the lifesaving philanthropic responsibility of the conscientious human being, all the teaching and non-teaching staff of the institute voluntarily participated in this program.

Flood Relief Initiative

ARCHED HOUSING Patna is taking a little initiative to help people who were suffering from heavy rainfall and waterlogging. Our team is tried to reach every possible place to help them. We provided food packets, water, candle, matchboxes, first aid, and transportation.

In order to address this gap, ARCHED HOUSING Patna has embarked on their yearlong “Consummate Leadership” initiative where students from the management discipline, as well as entrepreneurs, would be invited to participate in workshops, seminars, business games, films, role plays and many other creative programs for free.

Health Checkup Camp

International School of Management, Patna has organized a Free Health Check-up Camp in its premises on 25 September 2019 in association with Paras HMRI. Dr. Gautam R Prasad, Spine Consultant, while addressing the students, highlighted the major causes of spine diseases, created awareness and had shared common health tips to prevent such diseases. Dr. Neeraj Vedpuria, Clinical Psychologist conducted the Psychometric Test on over 300 students. He asked students to reduce fear and overcome anxiety. Depression is one of the major issues faced by the youth. Proper care is must to have a physically fit body with a healthy mind.

Tree Plantation

International School of Management, Patna successfully organized Tree Plantation Programme in collaboration with Lions Club of PATNA Maurya Aparajita. The institute Chairman Mr. Samrendra Singh, Director Dr. Jagdish Prasad , UG Incharge Dr. Julee Banerji, Lions Club President Mr. Alok Kumar, Sanju Sinha- Secretary, Mr.Rakesh Kumar - Treasurer, Ln Arun Kumar Singh, ARCHED HOUSING Faculty members and a large number of students participated in this plantation program. More than 100 trees were planted in the huge campus of ARCHED HOUSING PATNA.

Gandhi Setu

Spanning 5,750 m, the Mahatma Gandhi Setu (also known as Gandhi Setu and Ganga Setu) is India's second-longest bridge. Built across River Ganges, it connects Patna to Hajipur. It spans a length of approximately 5,750 m (or 18,860 ft) and was inaugurated by Indira Gandhi in May 1982, when she was the Prime Minister of the country. Today, it is estimated that over 85,000 vehicles along with 12,000 pedestrians use this bridge on a daily basis. It is almost a lifeline for the people of the state, making it easy for them to cover this long distance in a matter of minutes. There are 45 piers, 121 m in height, that support the bridge and the space left below it is enough to allow a ship to pass through.
